Tinesting na ng Department of National Defense (DND) ang bagong biling Spike ER Missile Weapon ng Philippine Navy.

Pinangunahan ni DND Secretary Delfin Lorenzana at Philippine Navy flag officer-in-command, Vice Admiral Robert Empedrad ang test fire sa nasabing missile system. Kayang maglakbay ng 8 kilometro ang missile, may “fire ang forget” targeting system pa ito at may kakayahan pang tumagos sa 39-pulgadang homogeneous armor.

Ang bawat missile ay nagkakahalaga ng P11 million.

The government of France has provided financial aid for a feasibility study on the implementation of the first urban cable car project in the country, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said Wednesday.
